Christos Mavrodis and Quintus Glerum are visual artists with distinct backgrounds, united by a shared interest in narrative. For their first collaboration they created a body of work that explores the narrative through a spatial interpretation of a character study.

Tabula Rasa often refers to a clean slate and suggests that an individual’s character is not predetermined, but is instead shaped entirely by experience and perception from birth. This term also refers to Mavrodis’ work process that moves between the abstract and figurative. Glerum responds to the references to character design within the drawing within a small digital screen that displays a small animation that is created in the same intuitive way, unnusual for the traditional animation process.
